Safety-Focused Tower Work

PPE, fall-protection planning, LOTO awareness, chemical hazard controls, respiratory-program requirements and winter thermal protection.

Scheduled Service Programs

Recurring maintenance options for facilities that want consistent cleaning, documentation and follow-up planning.

Legionella Awareness & Risk Reduction

Our field program trains technicians to recognize risk conditions, document findings and escalate abnormal conditions appropriately.

  • Biofilm-like buildup, sediment, scale and debris
  • Stagnant or low-flow areas
  • Fouled tower components and maintenance concerns
  • Excessive mist or aerosol exposure conditions
  • Internal written and practical technician training
Field rule: Legionella cannot be confirmed or ruled out by sight, smell, water color, slime or temperature alone. Technicians identify risk conditions; testing follows the applicable water-management or investigation process.

Safety Built Into the Job

Tower work combines wet surfaces, elevated access, chemicals, rotating/electrical equipment, aerosols and changing weather. Work planning addresses those hazards before service begins.

PPE

Head, eye/face, hand, foot, hearing, chemical and task-specific protection selected from the hazard assessment and site requirements.

Fall Protection

Harnesses, compatible connecting devices, approved anchorage, access controls and rescue planning appropriate to the work configuration.

Winter Thermal Protection

Insulated waterproof gloves and boots, thermal layers, hard-hat-compatible liners, wind/water-resistant outerwear, dry replacement clothing and cold-stress controls.

Lockout / Tagout (LOTO)

Before authorized cooling-tower service begins, hazardous energy must be addressed through the facility and employer's approved energy-control procedures.

  • Identify electrical, mechanical and other hazardous energy sources
  • Coordinate shutdown with the site representative
  • Isolate equipment using approved energy-isolating devices
  • Apply authorized employee locks and tags as required
  • Verify isolation before servicing or cleaning
  • Control restart and lock/tag removal under the approved procedure
Safety first: LOTO is part of the job's energy-control process. New Life Tower Solutions technicians follow site-specific and company procedures before working where unexpected energization, startup or stored energy could cause injury.
